Today, the main task of education is to establish life priorities and develop positive spiritual qualities of a person that contribute to the development and harmonization of intercultural and interethnic relations. The social, economic and cultural changes that have taken place over the past few years have given impetus to the development of international cooperation and have led to the expansion of the spheres of functioning of individual languages. The expansion of economic and cultural ties has led not only to the emergence of new institutions, but also to the borrowing of foreign language vocabulary and the close interaction of languages in the nomination of these institutions.Within the framework of this influence, the Republic of Kazakhstan can be singled out separately, since it is quite obvious that with such a large number of ethnic groups living on the territory of Kazakhstan, it is necessary to pay special attention to issues of integration and interaction between them.In this context, the urgent task of language policy is the formation of multilingualism, in which special attention is paid to the preservation and development of the state language, national languages, Russian as the language of interethnic communication and English for professional and intercultural communication. The purpose of the study is to review literary sources to identify the features of the mutual influence of languages and cultures in the multiethnic space of Kazakhstan.
