The article is devoted to the issue of interactive Russian language teaching at the University. The article deals with а form of interactive learning-student educational and scientific conference on specialty. The authors describe the method of conducting classes, focusing on the importance of this kind of activity in the context of the formation of a model of a specialist – a graduate of the University. Particular attention is drawn to the fact that the importance of the student scientific conference as an interactive form of learning goes far beyond a single subject, and therefore requires interdisciplinary coordinated development of a strategy for the formation of the system of skills and abilities of independent work of students.
