The article discusses the scientific and methodological foundations of developing students' writing skills in the Kazakh language through the action research method. Using the action research method in the learning process allows students to actively participate in the process of reflection, analysis and improvement, covering the stages of planning, action, observation and understanding. This process promotes reflective thinking in learning and self-development of students. It is worth noting that the action research method is often used in the process of learning and teaching foreign languages. The purpose of the research work is to improve students' writing skills and improve the quality of their knowledge by using the action research method in teaching the Kazakh language. This method pays special attention to the principles of collaborative learning, feedback and self-correction, which contribute to the development of academic literacy and critical thinking. The article analyzes modern research in the field of pedagogy and linguodidactics aimed at introducing this method into educational practice.
