The article discusses the changes in the dynamics of Kazakh language use among young people in the context of multilingualism, driven by socio-cultural and educational processes that amplify the influence of globalization and multilingual practices. The purpose of the study is to identify the factors affecting the proficiency and use of the Kazakh language among young people, as well as to characterize trends in its development. To achieve this goal, the authors set the following tasks: analyzing the sociolinguistic situation, assessing the degree of integration of the Kazakh language into educational processes and everyday life, and examining the motivation of young people to use the state language. The study's hypothesis is based on the assumption that the active implementation of multilingual educational programs and the widespread use of international languages (such as English and Russian) contribute to a reduced role of the Kazakh language in everyday and professional communication among young people. The methodological framework of the study includes sociological surveys, interviews, statistical data analysis. The results reveal that despite a growing interest in the Kazakh language within the educational environment and efforts to preserve it as cultural heritage, young people increasingly prefer Russian and English in real-life communication, particularly in professional contexts and on social media platforms. The authors conclude that strengthening state support for the Kazakh language through innovative educational technologies, fostering motivational conditions, and promoting cultural values are essential for its sustainable development in a multilingual context.
