The article highlights the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the modern foreign language teaching process. It focuses on the innovative methods that AI provides to personalize the learning process and improve its efficiency. Various tools such as adaptive programs, interactive chatbots and game elements and their impact on learner motivation and performance are discussed. Research results demonstrating significant acceleration of the learning process when using AI are presented. Potential problems related to the availability of technology and the need to preserve the human element in the educational process are discussed.
