Abay Kunanbayev is a great poet who skillfully summed up the realities of life that he accurately depicted in his own works. The educational value of Abay's works is analyzed on the basis of the article by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev "Abay and Kazakhstan in the XXI century" in this article. The purpose of the article is to recreate the national consciousness and define the national code. Abay is a person who looked critically at life and managed to see all the contradictions in it. Abay paid special attention to the upbringing of the younger generation, calling on each of them to learn through his works, set clear goals for the future, be educated and demanding of themselves. The significance of Abay's works with huge ideas of educating young people to knowledge, science, and hard work is analyzed in the article. In works of Abay, it is also proved that to live a good life and learn it, study art and achieve recognition, all these things are achieved only through hard work. Each poem of Abay is written with the purpose of awakening the consciousness of his people. The literary, critical nature of the poet's works on the topic of educating spiritually developed youth was determined by the opinions of different scientists in this article. The authenticity and veracity of Abay's poems in combination with the works of world classics were analyzed. Their phrases and expressiveness are analyzed. In terms of traditional values, a literary and theoretical analysis of the vitality of Abay's works was carried out. Finally in the article, it was suggested that the poet's works encourage our nation to remain at the height of honesty and dignity, to offer the next generation a moral idea, an exemplary model of lifestyle and education.
