Abstract

This article describes the relationship within the paradigm of "Friend, Foe, and Other" both in the real world and in the world of fiction. An example is the correlation of a person or a literary hero to a certain group, suitable for him by culture, traditions, principles, etc. The analysis of S. Muminov's works "The Cook and Love" and "Consolation by Philosophy" is carried out with the help of the triple opposition "Friend – Stranger – Other". The purpose of which is to reveal the characters of the miniature and the story from the perspective of the paradigm of "Friend or Foe" and "Friend or Other".
