The proposed article examines the practical possibility of using lacunization techniques in the system of comparative study of literary samples in modern Russian schools. The results of a methodological experiment conducted on the basis of the Lyceum N 25 named after Hero of the Soviet Union V.F. Margelov in Saransk, Russian Federation, are presented. The application of the claimed methodology makes it possible to identify patterns of the educational process that take into account the introduction of lacunization; To identify the factors influencing the assimilation of knowledge, understanding skills, and acceptance of another culture, which contributes to the integrated development of many aspects of literary education, emphasizing the importance of an individual approach to learning.
