The mass media is a powerful tool that influences on people's minds and a means of promptly conveying information to different parts of the world. It is the most effective force of influencing a person’s emotions that can convince the recipient in the best possible way. This work is devoted to the study of the role of mass media in the modern society and social communication by analyzing the aspects of modern news media discourse. The research work defines the main features of media, especially news discourse, as the type of media that is economically viable and accessible. However, because of the constantly moving society, people are not able to read all the news, so in modern time it is important to present information briefly and clearly.
