Abstract

 

This article examines in detail the history of the comic book genre, its place in world literature and culture, and its importance in the modern educational process. The study analyzes the stages of development and the main representatives of the comic book genre in countries such as the USA, Europe, and Japan. The article also focuses on the level of development of Kazakh comics, differentiating projects from the first comic elements of the early twentieth century to modern author's comics. Comics are a unique genre that visually conveys a story combined with text and artistic imagery. The effectiveness of the comic book genre in increasing students' learning motivation, quick perception of text, and the development of creative thinking has been scientifically substantiated. The pedagogical possibilities of using comics in education and the relevance of presenting works of national content in a modern format are also determined.
