Abstract

This article briefly analyzes Professor M. Myrzakhmetula's thoughts on Abai's work, summarized in M. Auezov's research, which critically examined a time period that precluded in-depth study and deeply reflected on the dissertation ideas expressed in the abstract. The article examines the key ideas drawn from the literary scholar's research, which examined issues related to poetic theory that arose in the BC era. An overview of the 19th-century education system was provided. The key differences between traditional education and modern education, which experienced rapid development in that century, were identified. Radical changes in the old educational system, which had failed to keep pace with the pace of everyday life, were revealed, and it was revealed that traditional education at the beginning of the century was based on religious scholasticism and oriented toward the teachings of the "kasbahs."

The meanings of the terms and expressions used by M. Myrzakhmetuly to explain the extremely complex concepts raised in Abai’s poems and sayings about khavas are revealed, and the features of his analysis are shown. The foundations of knowledge and understanding (mind, strength, heart) were identified, forming the core of Abai's teaching on the "integral man," as presented by Professor M. Myrzakhmetuly. It was revealed that the subject of Abai studies is an ideological foundation capable of supporting the nation's spirituality.
