The article is devoted to the development of applied lexicography in one of the areas of computer linguistics. Discusses the discussion of lexicography, caused by the fact that it is complex in nature, incorporates both theoretical and applied researches. The development of the Internet and technological industries has influenced the development of lexicography in a new direction. A new section of computer lexicography is widely analyzed in theory and practice of applied onomography, which studies the vocabulary of proper names. The author also analyzes new types of dictionaries, such as “Atau.kz”, “sozdik.kz”. The article is told about the successes and prospects dedicated to proper names in the field of electronic dictionaries.
