This article examines folklore symbols in modern Kazakh children's literature and their psycholinguistic aspects. Folklore symbols are a valuable tool that is passed on to the younger generation by transmitting deeply meaningful thoughts through symbols and images of the past that glorify our culture. The study discussed the influence of folklore elements on children's development cognitively, linguistically and psychologically. The main purpose of the study is to demonstrate the influence of folklore symbols on the development of imagination, vocabulary and upbringing of children.
